Adam is an academic who has spent over 35 years focusing on teaching and research within the built environment including everything from green roofs, construction waste and heat loss in buildings, to design psychology.
During his time in academia, Adam has carried out numerous commercial research projects, set up his own research company and written and managed numerous degree programmes and has a comprehensive understanding of the research funding processes and the interaction it plays with industry and government.
Adam has since retired from full-time academia to focus on more commercial projects and for the last 3 years has been working with Causeway focussing on emerging technologies and how these are shaping the digital transformation within the industry. He is also part of a team supporting Causeway's ambition to develop a product that provides as-built embodied carbon values for individual paid for materials and manufactured goods.
